Jennifer Longwell Occupational Therapist Sign: Pisces Dog: Jessie, a mini Bernedoodle Rabbits: Ashley & Winston

Jen graduated from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York with a BAS in psychology.  While there she discovered the field of occupational therapy and fell in love with the profession after observing OTs in a variety of settings.  She was particularly drawn to the holistic lens with which therapists support individuals across their lifespan thus she attended and in 2018 graduated Clarkson University with a master’s in Occupational Therapy.   

While at Clarkson, Jen enjoyed learning how technology can be integrated into the field of occupational therapy and went on to work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in her hometown of Rochester NY before moving to Boise to join her partner, Cody.  Seeking new experiences to hone her OT skills, Jen chanced on an interview with the Lotus Tree where her energy and enthusiasm were welcomed with open arms.  New to the field of Pediatric OT, she quickly became an integral part of the team through her hard work, kindness, and creativity. 

Outside of work, Jen enjoys exploring Idaho, her new home state, and can often be found hiking, camping, or skiing on weekends.  Other hobbies include running, cooking, going for long walks to get coffee and spending time with her animals and husband.
